THE fund for our 287th edges nearer to the target figure of £2,500 thanks to donations from friends old and new.
Contributions received this week, taking the total to £2,351.43, include £50 “in memory of Miss Frances Turner”; £10 “birthday memories of a very special and much-loved Dad and Granddad, Jesse Wilson, 31st August” from all the family; £10 “birthday memories of Matthew Ball. Loved and remembered always” from Mum, Dad and Peter, and £1 “in memory of Ted and his faithful dog, Kim. Gone, but not forgotten.”
