A BRAND new Chad Retro calendar featuring a selection of nostalgic pictures from down the decades is now on sale.

The Retro calendar is the perfect Christmas stocking filler for all those who love the Mansfield and Ashfield of yesteryear.

Among the pictures from down ‘memory lane’ are images from the winter of 1966, which shows youngsters sledging down Fisher Lane Park, and of Mansfield transformed into a winter wonderland.

Our fascinating calendar also features pictures of the last shift at Clipstone Colliery in 2003 and a group of record breakers from Annesley Bentinck Colliery.

March features a sporting theme, with the 1962 Dukeries School cross country run, the Queen Elizabeth’s boys’ school football team from 1964 and Garibaldi’s school football team in 1963.
