Village residents around Bilsthorpe are being urged to join the campaign to halt plans for an incinerator.
Increasing numbers of locals are adding their support to the campaign to fight plans for the ‘gasification’ plant on Bilsthorpe Business Park.
But campaigners say they need more people to join, in particularly those living in areas such as Farnsfield and Kirklington among other villages.
At a meeting on Thursday evening by RAGE (Residents Against Gasification Experiment), attended by around 30 people, it was claimed other villages could be affected more by the pollution being carried from the proposed plant than Bilsthorpe itself.
People can attend the next meeting at St John Ambulance building, on Thursday 12th December starting at 7pm.
