Biker in A38 accident

A MOTORCYCLIST was in collision with a car on the A38 this morning (Tuesday).

The rider appeared to have collided with the white Audi near to the junction of the B6014, close to the Sir John Cockle pub, at around 8am.

An ambulance was called to the scene, although it is not known how seriously hurt either the motorcyclist or the driver was in the impact.

Traffic into Mansfield had begun to build as a result of the accident.
