Alfreton Town fan charged over alleged racist remarks
A MAN has been charged after alleged racist insults were shouted at a player during a match between Alfreton Town and Kidderminster Harriers.
The alleged incident took place at a Kidderminster home game at the Aggborough Stadium on 23rd February.
The 34-year-old man from South Normanton was arrested and charged on Friday, 8th March with a racially aggravated public order offence following a joint investigation by Derbyshire Constabulary and West Mercia Police.
He will appear before magistrates in Chesterfield on Wednesday, 27th March.
