£250,000 lotto win is unclaimed by Ashfield National Lottery player

NATIONAL Lottery players across Ashfield are being urged double-check their tickets after revealing a £250,000 win is yet to be claimed.

The owner of the winning ticket matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Wednesday 21st December.

The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 7, 28, 30, 34, 38, 45 and the bonus ball was 6. The lucky ticket-holder now has until 5.30pm on Monday 18th June 2012 to claim their prize.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life, and what a way it would be to start 2012.

We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

To jog Lotto players’ memories, Dance With Me Tonight by Olly Murs topped the UK singles chart at the time, while Amy Winehouse was at number one in the UK album chart with Lioness – Hidden Treasures.

Football fans may remember Mansfield Town lost 3-1 away to Southport the Saturday before the draw.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the Good Causes.
