Live 24-hour marathon show by hospital radio station
A 24-hour marathon live show was broadcast by Millside Radio, the station that serves patients at King's Mill Hospital in Sutton.
Presenters Ashley Hardy and Cam Felton teamed up to raise awareness of and funds for the station, which is a registered charity.
The show featured unique segments, including karaoke challenges, guest appearances and requests from patients. And the station’s mascot, Milly Bear, was also there as Ashley brought the marathon to an end by playing ‘We Are The Champions’ by Queen.
Ashley said: “I was extremely excited to do it. It was tough but for a great cause.”
