A library will close for almost two months as it undergoes renovation works.
Southwell Library will close tomorrow, Sunday 17th January, at 4pm and now will not re-open until Saturday 14th March.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire County council said: “This is to enable remodelling and improvement works to the building.
“We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
“During the closure, you will be able to borrow books every Saturday from the mobile library which will be parked behind the Bramley Centre.”
The mobile library will be open every Saturday 9am to 3pm from Saturday 24th January until Saturday 7th March.
The nearest alternative is to travel to Farnsfield Library, four miles away.
This will have extended opening hours from Monday, 19th January, 9am to 5pm on Mondays to Thursdays, 9am to 6pm on Fridays and 9am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.
