The skip fire was ‘well alight’.

Fire crews from Ashfield and Mansfield were called out to a large skip fire at Hermitage Lane Depot at nearly 3pm yesterday, Thursday, August 18.

There was wood cloth and plastic in the skip which was described by a spokesman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue as being ‘well alight’.

Two hose reel jets were used to put out the flames.
