Langwith Community Show gearing up for biggest year yet

The annual Langwith Community Show is gearing up for its biggest year yet.

The show at Rhubard Farm on Hardwick Street in Langwith will have something for everyone.

From adrenaline pumping body zorbing and lazer zone to story telling and face painting , the show will suit all tastes.

Visitors to the show on 7th September can also enter the produce show which has an impressive 50 classes and the fun dog show which has 11 classes.

Entries for the produce show can be submitted between 8.30am and 10.30am on the 7th September or between 5pm and 6pm on the Friday evening.

Jennie Street, managing director of Rhubarb Farm, said she is looking forward to this year’s show.

“She said: “It is a great family fun day and a chance for people to show the things they have made or grown.

“You can bring your dog along for the day and enter them in the fun dog show, everybody is welcome.”

The main show starts at 12 noon after the judging in the marquee. 

Families can also enjoy two bouncy castles, smoothie bike, craft and bric-a-brac stalls, health stalls, a magician, and a variety of food and refreshment stalls.

Shirebrook Brass Band and BUDDIES rock band will be providing live music on the day.

Jennie added: “This is the second year of the show, it was so popularlast year that everyone told us we had to put another on again.

“It is a lot of work but such a good day and that’s why we decided to do it again.

“It is for all the community to enjoy.”
