A Kirkby shared two and half bottles of wine with friends then got behind the wheel of her car.
Jessica Claire Raine, of Crocus Street, appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to driving the car along Victoria Road, Kirkby, while over the legal limit.
She was found to have 96mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, almost three times the legal limit of 35mcgs.
Probation officer Sarah Alderton said: “She was out socialising with friends and had been drinking wine but chose to get in her car. She said she had no idea why.”
Ms Alderton said Raine regretted her actions and was embarrassed by what she had done.
Magistrates banned her from driving for 25 months, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge and given 40 hours unpaid work.
