King’s Clipstone subject of archaeological talk

A talk charting the archaeology of King’s Clipstone by Andy Gaunt and James Wright of Mercian Archaeological Services CIC will form part of the Nottinghamshire Local History Association Members’ Research Day.

Held at Lambley Village Hall between 10am and 4.15pm on 9th November, Graham Aldred will also speak on Anglo-Saxon settlements incorporating the name ‘worth’, Tom Connolly on excavations at Croxton Kerrial and Catherine Wells on computer applications in archaeology, while Peter Allen will initiate a discussion as to how the CBA East Midlands should face its future.
