Win tickets to Robin Hood show
NOTTINGHAMSHIRE’S famous outlaw Robin Hood will be paying a visit to Thoresby Riding Hall Theatre next month in a new show - and we have tickets to give away to one lucky Kids’ Squad reader.
The Adventures of Robin Hood will be performed by Oddsocks at the theatre, which is near Ollerton, from 6th to 8th December.
The popular story, which will have a Christmas theme, will feature all of the well-loved characters including Robin Hood and the dastardly devious Sheriff of Nottingham.
For your chance of winning a family ticket (two adults and two children) to the show on 2pm on 8th December simply answer the following question:
Q: Where does Robin Hood live?
Send your answers to Catherine at Kids’ Squad at the usual address before 6th December.
A poem for Hallowe’en
THIS week, regular Kids’ Squad reader Abigail Tyers, who is eight-year-old and lives in Edwinstowe, has written a lovely poem all about Hallowe’en.
It’s dark in the night,
Some people get a fright.
All pumpkins are out.
All candles are blown out
Children are trick-or-treating
So me and you get sweets.
It is Hallowe’en.
By Abigail Tyers.
