CHRISTMAS may be over now for another year - but I had to include this lovely picture sent in by members of the Eastside Centre youth club in Sutton.

At the end of last year, the group held their Christmas Cracker Concert and around 120 friends and family enjoyed the show.

The youth club is held every Thursday night and there is plenty to do, including PS2s Wii and Xbox games and a super tuck shop!

For more information on what is going on at Eastside visit www.eastsidecentre.co.uk.

AREN’T these two piglets adorable?

They are called kunekune piglets and they are ‘micropigs’ - which means they are very small. They live at Willow Tree Farm in Shirebrook.

David Taylor, from Willow Tree Farm, says: “We have got a ginger and brown one and she is very inquisitive - she comes running at you.

“We have also got a black and white one and she is more wary. They look after each other.”

Now David wants you to name the piglets! Send your ideas to Catherine by 26th January.

Hansel and Gretel pay visit to Sutton

THE popular fairytale of Hansel and Gretel will be performed at Sutton Centre Community College tomorrow evening.

This is the story of a brother and sister called Hansel and Gretel who find themselves living in a house where there is nothing to eat - until they stumble upon a house made of gingerbread!

All is well until they discover they too may be on the menu . . .

The show starts at 7.30pm. To book tickets call Mansfield 441310.
