Jonathan Turner murder: Trial to begin in April

FOUR men have denied the murder of Forest Town man Jonathan Turner at Nottingham Crown Court this morning (Friday).

Andrej Novakov (19) of Mansfield and Miroslavas Budzinskis (24) of Nottingham, pleaded not guilty to the charge during the hearing.

Bragdas Kilic (22), of Westfield Lane, Mansfield, and Vjaceslavs Solovjovs (22), of Terrace Road, Mansfield, also denied the charge in front of Judge Michael Stokes

Mr Turner (27) died at King’s Mill Hospital on 8th May after he was allegedly seriously assaulted on Stockwell Gate in Mansfield town centre in the early hours of the previous day.

A post-mortem examination showed that he died of a head injury.

The four will stand trial at Nottingham Crown Court on 18th April next year.
