PEOPLE who attended the Ice Age Live! show at the Nottingham Capital FM Arena on Thursday afternoon have been offered a refund or alternative tickets after a technical hitch hit the show.
The problem struck the ‘earth platform’ which slides on and off the ice.
Thursday afternoon’s show was 30 minutes late starting and when it finally began the show came to an abrupt halt after about 35 minutess because of the mechanical failure of the platform.
After a further half hour wait, the show was cut short.
Today organisers issued a statement saying: “The producers of Ice Age Live! apologise to the audience at the 3pm performance, Thursday 25th October, at the Nottingham Capital FM Arena for the interruptions to the show. These were caused by unforeseen technical difficulties.
“Anyone who attended the performance will receive a full refund or an exchange of tickets for any performance this weekend:
Friday 26th Oct (7pm)
Saturday 27th Oct (3pm, 7pm)
Sunday 28th Oct (11am, 3pm).
“Please note that ticket holders must contact the venue box office in person or by phone on 0843 373 3000 to exchange their tickets.
“Customers who do not wish to take advantage of the exchange offer must contact their original point of purchase for a refund.”
