A Hucknall woman who was caught shoplifting breached a court order made for possessing a knife, a court has heard.

Kristy Alderman, 37, of Burberry Avenue, admitted three counts of theft when she appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on May 15.

The court heard she stole cosmetics, worth £78, from Wilkinsons, an unknown quantity of fragrances from Boots, both on Lower Parliament Street, Nottingham, on April 24, and a £6 jar of coffee from the Co-Op, in Sneinton, on May 9.

The thefts were committed while she was on a 26 week suspended sentence, imposed on January 13, for possession of a bladed article, which was extended to 14 months.

She must also abide by a two month curfew, between 8pm on 8am, which will be electronically monitored.

She must pay costs of £50, and compensation for the coffee.
