Hucknall pensioners enjoy tea and entertainment from Rotary and Inner Wheel
Pensioners aged over 73 were invited to Hucknall Rotary Club’s annual tea party.
The event, which has been held every year since the end of the Second World War, took place on Wednesday 14th May at the town’s Central Methodist Church on Baker Street.
As well as afternoon refreshments, the group of townsfolk enjoyed entertainment provided by students of Holgate Academy.
Music and dancing kept the event lively and there was also a chance for a chat and a talk of times gone by whilst being served by members of the Rotary and Inner Wheel ladies.
