HEATING has returned to normal on the Oak Tree Lane Estate after the supply was hit following a house fire on Morton Close on Sunday.
A semi-detached house, which is owned by Mansfield District Council, will need to be demolished following a fire that left the two-storey property severely damaged.
Crews from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire at 2.48pm and it was brought under control at 5.43pm.
The fire caused a fracture in a pipe which supplies the District Heating system to properties on the estate, before contractors completed their repairs at 8pm on Monday night.
Residents experiencing any problems with their heating are asked to contact Mansfield District Council on 01623 463 463.
