Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust workers to be honoured

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will be celebrating excellence and recognising its most dedicated staff at its annual Staff Excellence Awards presentation evening on 11th October.

A record 170 outstanding teams and individuals have been nominated from King’s Mill, Newark, and Mansfield and Ashfield hospitals.

The ceremony will take place at Mansfield Civic Centre and the winners of eight categories - Team of the Year, Improvement Award, Chris Macfarlane Award, Patient First Award, Unsung Hero Award, Chairman’s Award, The People’s Award - will be revealed.

Trust chairman Tracy Doucét said: “Our Staff Excellence Awards provide the perfect opportunity to recognise and appreciate the efforts and commitment of all our staff in always putting the patient first.

“In particular, we celebrate those outstanding people who deserve special recognition for demonstrating extraordinary dedication.

“We would not be able to hold this important event without the support of our sponsors, and are very grateful to Unipart, Medirest, Central Nottinghamshire Hospitals, Capitec, Accenture, SOLOS consultants, Agfa Healthcare and Auburn Ainsley.”
