This is the final week for people to nominate their hospital hero in this year’s NUHonours Awards.
More than 400 nominations have been submitted this year’s awards. Patients, visitors and staff are being asked to take the time to nominate a team or a member of staff they feel has ‘gone the extra mile’ in their daily work to help improve the experiences of patients and staff
Now in their sixth year, the awards recognise the extra effort people make to care for patients at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH).
The 15 award categories, including new for 2012 ‘Public Member of the Year Award’ category, are open for nominations until Friday 14 September.
As well as awards for different clinical specialties at NUH, there is also an award for volunteers, fundraisers, and partnership working – plus an award to recognise our 14,000 public members who have made an outstanding contribution to the Trust in the past year.
NUHonours 2012 is possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of our own Nottingham Hospitals Charity, which is working in partnership with the Trust.
