A sparkling new state-of-the-art surgery is on course to be finished this summer, the practice manager has confirmed.
Building work for the new Clipstone Health Centre is heading towards the advanced stages for the multi-million pound surgery next to the Crown Farm roundabout in Forest Town.
Work began in November after the plans spent three-and-a-half years on the drawing board.
Madd Doig, practice manager said: “We’re now half way through the build and on track for completion at the end of August.
“Seeing it become a reality makes it even clearer what a fantastic facility this will be for the residents of Clipstone and Forest Town.
“There’s going to be a lot of work over the next six months as we prepare to move but we’re really looking forward to having a properly sized and specified, state-of-the-art medical centre.
“This extra space will enable us to bring care closer to the community by developing new services and to welcome new patients who move to the area.”
The new practice is being funded through a third party.
