PEOPLE will be able to take a step back in time at Rufford Abbey this weekend.
The abbey will host the fifth annual Grand Historical and Vintage Bazaar at the country park tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday from 11am until 4.30pm each day. The event is free admission but car parking is £3.
The event combines the sale of a vast variety of new and pre-owned historical and vintage items with multi-period living history and arena displays.
More than 80 sales stalls, mostly within attractive period-style tents, and 25 Roman to 1980s living history groups are taking part in this event.
There will also be a chance to sell, swap, buy (or even give away) all manner of new and second hand clothing, uniforms, model soldiers, militaria, equipment, weaponry, antiques, pictures, prints and postcards, books, DVDs, games and more.
Re-enactors of all kinds will be in period costume, while living history and displays will take place throughout the weekend.
