Get active in Pleasley Vale this summer

Bolsover District Council is urging local people to get active in the vale as they stage two new summer holiday courses.

Taking place at Pleasley Vale Outdoor Activity Centre throughout August, the courses include a number of adventurous activities such as canoeing, climbing, archery and orienteering for people aged eight-years-old and above.

The two separate courses – Get Active in the Vale and Limestone Warriors – will help to promote a greater understanding of the limestone landscape among participants whilst they take part in adventurous activities.

Costing £12 per person, Limestone Warrior is aimed at young people and will take place as a mid-week activity programme, whilst Get Active in the Vale is a family and young person-orientated programme taking place at weekends.
