There are six candidates battling it out for the Sherwood seat.

They are:

Green Lydia Davies-Bright

Labour Léonie Mathers

Liberal Democrat Dan Mosley

Class War Dave Perkins

Conservative Mark Spencer

In the last General Election back in 2010, Mark Spencer won the seat for the Conservative party after Labour lost out by just 214 votes.

It is expected to be another close call this year as papers continue to be counted here in Ollerton.

In 2010, Mark Spencer won 39.2 per cent of the vote with 19,211 votes. Labour candidate Emilie Oldknow just missed out with 38.8 per cent with 18,997 votes.

Back then, Lib Dems secured only 7,283 with UKIP taking 1,490 which equated to only three per cent.
