A full military honours funeral is to be held for the tragic young soldier who was killed in a car accident.

Private Hazel Fox of Sutton-in-Ashfield died on Friday, January 26 while driving through Lincolnshire. She was 20 years old.

And the community was rocked by the loss of such a popular, 'bubbly' young woman, who was well-known around local football clubs as a keen player for Teversal FC Ladies.

The pubic funeral is to take place at St Mary's Church, Sutton-in-Ashfield on Friday, March 11, 2pm, followed by a private family committal.

Flowers from family only, any donations to Hazel's Fund.

A charity football match is also planned to honour the 'true Linby lad-ie' at the Teversal ground
