Fuel thieves strike in Market Warsop and Mansfield Woodhouse

Fuel thieves have struck in the region twice in recent days, prompting police to warn motorists to remain vigilant.

During the night of Sunday 2nd February and Monday 3rd February, between 8pm and 5.20am, diesel fuel was taken from a Ford Transit van parked in Booth Street, Mansfield Woodhouse. The fuel tank underneath had been drilled into and £100 worth of diesel fuel removed.

Between 10.05pm on 3rd February and 5.30am the next morning, fuel was siphoned from a parked car on Grove Road in Market Warsop.
