CHILDREN across Mansfield and Ashfield will be able to learn all about dinosaurs following the launch of Chad’s brand new book series.
Disney’s Wonderful World of Knowledge is a 24 book encyclopaedia which takes children on an education adventure, exploring science, nature, history, space and plenty more.
The first part of the series, aimed at children aged seven years to 11 years-old, is Dinosaurs, followed by Planet Earth and The Human Body.
And if you believe in sharing knowledge with your young ones, you’ll be thrilled to know that the first book is FREE with today’s Chad. Each subsequent book will then cost £2.99 when bought with the Chad.
The books can be purchased from newsagents across the district and at all Chad receptions.
Kallum Pilgim, who attends Mansfield’s Ethel Wainwright Primary School, is one youngster to have already enjoyed the Dinosaur book.
He said: “I don’t know what to say except that it is so good. It has lots of unbelievable facts in it which are great to read about.
“The illustrations are brilliant - if you can’t read as a child the pictures tell you the facts. The facts in the book are very helpful.
“The dinosaur world was a different world from ours and many different types of dinosaurs learned to live among the thick forests and on the vast plains.
“I really enjoyed this book, and I think that you will too.”
Classmate Billie Jo Brailsford has also been improving her knowledge about earty, with the second book in the series.

Billie Jo said: “Both old and young will enjoy this book.
“This fun book will not only inspire children, it will also inspire teachers.
“It will help children with their geography and give them lots of bright ideas. They will also be more aware of their surroundings.”
