Four arrests after man dragged from Notts home by gang

Police have made four arrests following a shocking suspected kidnapping, after a man was allegedly grabbed from his house and stuffed in a car.

The suspects — a 22-year-old woman, and three men, aged 22, 23, and 26 — were detained this morning (Friday 1 April 2016) in Leicester.

Nottinghamshire Police said they were called to reports of a disturbance and witnesses on the street told they saw two men bundle a man intoa car.

The four suspects remain in police custody for questioning.

Officers added: "The arrests follow an incident in which a man was reportedly forced into a car from a house in Broad Eadow Road, Bulwelll, at about 4pm on Wednesday (30 March 2016). He was located on foot in a Leicester street in the early hours of the next day."

The 20-year-old was treated at hospital for minor injuries at Leicester Royal Infirmary, and was subsequently released.
