Former Cantamus singer Sarah Carlin will be performing her first concert in Mansfield since teaming up with pianist Steve Johnson, on Saturday 26th April.
The 25-year-old former Joseph Whitaker pupil, from Ravenshead, has turned professional after graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire Music College.
She will be performing at the Mansfield Crescent Centre on Bull Farm Estate and will sing a variety of classical pieces, with a few show songs thrown in.
“Since I’ve returned from university, I have teamed up with Steve for a number of different events and it’s great now I’m back in the area to be able to do this show in Mansfield,” said Sarah.
“I sung with Cantamus for around eight years from the age of 12 and I’ve got fond many memories of that time.”
As well as performing at weddings, celebrations and corporate events as a fully-trained classical singer, Sarah also gives singing lessons, both in schools and privately.
Tickets for the show are priced at £10, which includes a free glass of wine or soft drink.
