A blaze broke out at a paper recycling factory in Forest Town today.

Crews from Mansfield, Ashfield and Edwinstowe were called to Rettenmaier UK premises on Strawberry Way at around 10.50am.

The fire had started in shredding machinery and the firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to access the building before using hose reel pumps to battle the flames.

They were able to bring it under control by 11.16am.
