Primary school pupils in Alfreton are being urged to get involved with Scrivens Opticians and The Hearing Company’s ‘STOP LOOK LISTEN’ competition to support National Road Safety Week.
The budding local artists and writers have been tasked with creating a poster or writing a poem to express what they know about the stop, look and listen rule. One pupil from the local area will win a £20 book token or art pack for themselves, as well as a £25 book token for their school.
The winner will then go into a national draw to win £500-worth of book vouchers for their school, in addition to the £20 book token or art pack for themselves.
The competition is open to children attending primary schools if they enter through their school – all entries must be received by Friday 4th November. Any school wishing to take part can email email@example.com for an entry pack.
