Abbey Primary School ran an Art Week earlier this month, with children taking part in lessons that focused on appreciating different artists.
Children in different year groups looked at artists such as Warhol, Monet, Stubbs and Van Gogh, studying their techniques and making practice pieces to develop their skills.
The best two pictures from each class will be framed for an exhibition for the other children, parents and careers to come and look at.
The art work will also be available for families to buy later in the year as a fundraising activity for the school.
Head Kim Wakefield said: “We are very proud of how all the children behaved throughout this week. They have created some amazing pieces of artwork.”
