Students at West Nottinghamshire College have launched a campaign to crackdown on litter.

Students and staff are being encouraged to be more aware of litter, how it is disposed of and the cleanliness of college campuses in ths Students’ Union-run drive.

Over 200 bags of rubbish per day are collected from bins and dining areas at the Derby Road campus.

Students ‘ Union President Will Jordan said: “It’s all too easy to leave an empty wrapper on a table, to drop chewing gum or to walk past something dropped on the floor.”
