DRAMATIC PICTURES: Car driver escapes with his life after lorry roof shears off under bridge and just misses him
These dramatic pictures show a lorry which sheared its roof completely off after it hit a bridge on the A60 at Warsop this morning.
A BMW car following on just missed being flattened by the falling structure but was unable to avoid a collision.
The road is now closed to traffic and diversions are in place.

Hide AdThe pictures were sent in by witness Dennis Locking who lives near the bridge.
Mr Locking said: ““We were having our breakfast when we heard a bang outside the house at about 7.45am.
“The lorry was about 30 yards the other side of the bridge and it left its roof wedged into it.
“It had dropped to the floor and the car following it ran up it like a ramp.
“The car driver was luck - a split second before and the roof would have flattened the car.”
