Two high flying caring ladies took the plunge and leapt 14,000 feet to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Diane Dennis, 49 of Clipstone and Jade Shetliffe, 22 of Mansfield Woodhouse have raised more than £1,000 in a sky dive at Hinton Airfield Northants.
Diane works at King’s Mill hospital on ward 33 as a hostess where she did a raffle and sold jewellery.
She said: “It was an amazing experience. We free fell 7,000 feet for 45 seconds above the clouds - it was like dropping through a white sheet.
“I would love to do it again.”
Jade works at Premier Care who have also donated to Cancer research UK.
They decided to raise money for the cause as they have both lost family and friends to cancer.
Diane lost her aunt who died of cancer of the oesophagus aged just 37.
