Woman dies after road crash near Ollerton

A 57-YEAR-OLD woman involved in a road crash in Ollerton this morning (18th January) has died.

Police were called to the A6075, near the Ollerton Roundabout, at 9.10am after a collision between a Ford Fiesta and a Ford Iveco articulated lorry.

The driver of the Fiesta was taken to King’s Mill Hospital, where she later died from her injuries. She has not yet been named.

The 53-year-old male driver of the articulated lorry was not injured.

The road was closed from Ollerton Roundabout to Thoresby Colliery until 3.45pm.
