Police are keen to speak with the people in this image following an alleged assault in the town centre on Saturday, 15th March.

A 23-year-old man sustained serious head injuries in the incident, which happened at about 3.15am. He remains at Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre in a serious condition.

DC Neil Allsop from Mansfield Police Station said: “The two people pictured may have seen something, whether that was the assault itself or events leading up to it or after it.

“If you did and this image jogs your memory about that night, you may have information which could help with our inquiry.”

Ashley Haslam (22) of Edgmanton Road in Meden Vale, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm in relation to the incident. He is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court.

Three more men, aged 20, 21 and 22, have been arrested and released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
