Witnesses plea afterKing’s Mill OAP theft

The 83-year-old man was being treated at King’s Mill, when he had a large quantity of money stolen from his coat pocket.

The incident happened between 5.35pm and 7.30pm on 6th February, though police have only just released details.

Due to the patient being situated within the open part of the ward, there’s no CCTV to help with the investigation.

Police are appealing for anyone that saw anything suspicious around this time, anyone loitering nearby or running away from the area to contact them on 101 Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
