Two brothers from Wellow have been held in custody accused of causing grievous bodily harm to an 18 –year-old woman during a house burglary in Bulwell.
One of the men, Lee Sheeran (23), is alleged to have been armed with an imitation handgun.
Three women were present in the house in March Gardens on 1st July this year.
Sheeran and his brother Darren Sheeran (21), both of Potter Lane, Wellow, are charged with aggravated burglary and causing grievous bodily harm to Laura Furley.
Lee Sheeran is charged with possession of an imitation firearm.
Both men appeared at Nottingham Crown Court by video link from prison.
Judge Jonathan Teare remanded them in custody until a further hearing on 12th October when they will be expected to enter their pleas.
There was no application for bail.
The judge fixed a provisional trial date for the week commencing 12th November.
