Warning after spate of break-ins in Annesley

Residents from the Annesley area are being urged to secure their property following a spate of thefts from sheds, outhouses and garages.

On Friday 4th July, a shed on Ethelbert Avenue was targeted fishing gear and a tool box were stolen.

On the same day, a garage on The Grove was broken into and tools were stolen.

A day later, police reported that an unlocked outbuilding on Newstead Road was entered and a strimmer and router were taken, while on Byron Road a shed was broken into and a generator compressor and circular saw taken.

On Sunday, 7th July, a garage on Annesley Cutting was broken into but nothing was taken, while another garage on Owston Road had two bicycles taken.

A Volvo V50 was taken on Monday 7th July from outside a house on Moseley Road, but was later recovered.
