Criminal damage

Jack Hornsby (21) of Egmanton Road, Meden Vale, admitted breaking ornaments and a wooden door, and assaulting a female, and was given a community order and made to £210 compensation, £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £60 surcharge;

Anthony Lee Hodder (25) of Talbot Street, Mansfield, was found guilty of damaging a window and assaulting a female. He was jailed for 38 weeks, made to pay £440 criminal courts charge, and £80 compensation. The case was proved in his absence;

Motoring

George Nathan Waugh (19) of Whitewater Road, New Ollerton, admitted driving a Vauxhall Astra while already disqualified and was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months. He was banned from driving for 20 months, made to pay £150 criminal courts charge, and an £80 surcharge. There was no separate penalty fro driving without insurance or using a mobile phone while driving;

Sharon Barnes (56) of Stone Crescent, Mansfield, admitted jumping a red light while driving a Ford and was fined £100, given three penalty points, and made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge;

Lee Andrew West (28) of Brierley Cottages, Sutton, was caught driving at 52mph in a 30mph zone in a BMW. He was fined £160, handed six penalty points, and made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge;

Luke Russel Heeley (28) of The Woodlands, Langwith, was found guilty of not wearing a seatbelt while driving a Vauxhall and was fined £200, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge. The case was proved in his absence;

Dean Victor Short (43) of Reindeer Street, Mansfield, admitted using a mobile phone while driving a Ford and was fined £40, given three penalty points, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge;

Drink Driving

Jamie Radford (18) of Strawberry Bank, Huthwaite, admitted having 46mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of VW Polo. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from driving for 14 months, fined £200, made to pay £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £20 surcharge;

James Antony Malam (21) of Fifth Avenue, Edwinstowe, admitted having 56mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Seat Ibiza. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from the road for 15 months, fined £350 and made to pay £85 costs and a £35 surcharge;

Ashley Scott Layden (25) of Princes Street, Mansfield, admitted having 92mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Renault Megane. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from the road for 24 months, fined £270 and made to pay £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £27 surcharge;

Theft

Aivars Lisovskis (48) of Rowan Drive, Kirkby, admitted stealing alcohol and groceries worth £176 from Tesco in Ollerton. He was fined £80, made to pay £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £20 surcharge;

Shane Paul Ward (37) of The Beeches, Skegby, admitted stealing two bottles of detergent from a service station and was given a community order, made to pay £7 compensation, £150 criminal courts charge, £30 costs and a £50 surcharge;

Naomi Natasha Toor (29) of Main Street, Huthwaite, admitted stealing aftershave and perfume worth £655 from Debenhams, and was jailed for 10 weeks, made to pay £180 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and an £80 surcharge;

Stephen Bert Dobbs (47) of High Hazel Drive, Mansfield Woodhouse, was found guilty after a trial having articles such as a screwdriver and hammer in connection with theft and was handed a 10-week sentence suspended for 12 months, made to pay £100 costs and an £80 surcharge;

Dale Shaw (34) of Lime Street, Kirkby, admitted stealing razors worth £20 from Rowlands Pharmacy. He was given a community order with drug rehabilitation, made to pay £150 criminal courts charge, and £20 compensation;

Michelle Dargue (35) of Woodhouse Road, Mansfield, admitted stealing two cans of lager from a One-Stop Shop, and stole fresh meat, coffee and chocolate, to the value of £16.96 on another occasion. He was given a community order, ordered to pay £11.46 compensation, £150 criminal courts charge and a £60 surcharge;

Violence

Bradley John Dawes (20) of Princess Street, Kirkby, was found guilty after a trial of two counts of assaulting a female, and damaging a bedroom door. He was handed an 18-week sentence suspended for two years, made to pay £200 compensation, £625 court costs and an £80 surcharge;

Alexander George Thomson (29) of Singleton Avenue, Mansfield, admitted two counts of assaulting a female and was handed a community order and made to pay £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and £60 surcharge;
