Theft

Mark Colin Edwards (33) of Almond Rise, Forest Town, admitted stealing a DVD player worth £85 from Asda in Forest Town, along with DVD Box set worth £70 and two iPads worth £158. He was jailed for 20 weeks and made to pay an £80 surcharge;

Michael Leslie Newton (35) of David Street, Kirkby, admitted stealing 37 Lynx deodorant cans worth £121 from J&J Stores, 10 cans from B&M, and a t-shirt from JD Sports He was jailed for 28 days and made to pay £150 criminal court charges and an £80 surcharge;

Lukas Koval (23) of Harrington, Mansfield, admitted stealing two t-shirts from Sports Direct worth £11 possession of a knife. He was given a community order with 140 hours community service. He was also made to pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge;

Vicky Plastow (36) of Richmond Street, Mansfield, admitted receiving stolen goods including five memory cards. She was given a one-year conditional discharge, made to pay £85 costs and a £15 surcharge;

Damian Shane Butler (31) of Glenside, Kirkby, admitted stealing a leg of lamb worth £12 from Aldi in Kirkby and was fined £70, and made to pay £12 compensation;

Przemyslaw Malinowski (35) of Baums Lane, Mansfield, admitted stealing alcohol and groceries worth £6 from Tesco in Mansfield, and was fined £80, made to pay £85 costs, a £20 surcharge and £150 criminal courts charge;

Violence

Stephen Thomas Yates (28) of Fairweather Close, Boughton, admitted two counts of assaulting a female and was jailed for 18 weeks and made to pay £150 criminal courts charge and an £80 surcharge;

Robert Faulkner (54) of Newgate Lane, Mansfield, admitted assaulting another male and was jailed for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, made to pay £85 costs and an £80 surcharge;

Criminal damage

Jason Lee Smith (39) of no fixed address admitted causing damage to a police car, stealing aftershave worth £58 from Boots and two counts of failing to surrender to custody. He was jailed for 84 days and made to pay an £80 surcharge and £150 criminal courts charge;

Drugs

Carrie Louise Butler (27) of Lawrence Avenue, Kirkby, admitted possession of cannabis and was handed a 12-month conditional discharge, made to pay £85 costs and a £15 surcharge;

Ricky Lee Thornley (22) of Clumber Drive, Mansfield, admitted possession of cannabis and was handed a 12-week jail sentence and made to pay an £80 surcharge;

Dale Peter Smith (40) of Sandown Road, Mansfield, admitted producing nine cannabis plants and was given a community order with a curfew and made to pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge;

Drink driving

Nicola Jane Collingham (40) of Kelvin Close, Forest Town admitted having 59mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Peugeot. The legal limit is 35mcgs.

She was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £160, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge;

Arron Straw (22) of Byron Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted having 69mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a VW Golf. The legal limit is 35mcgs.

He was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £110, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge;

Corey James Blacknell (19) of Cedar Lane, New Ollerton, admitted having 40mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Renault Clio. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £300, made to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge;

Motoring

Roy Adkins (66) of Blidworth Lane, Kirkby, admitted driving a Ford Transit van while not wearing a seat belt. He was fined £100 and made to pay a £20 surcharge;

Fraud

Jill Denise Hoh (55) of Alexander Road, Farnsfield, admitted failing to inform the council in a change of circumstances that would affect her council tax and housing benefit, a the DWP which could affect her employment and support allowance. She was given a community order with a curfew and made to pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge;

Miscellaneous

Christopher James Whiting (29) of Chesterfield Road North, Mansfield, admitted being drunk and disorderly and failing to surrender to custody. He was fined £55 and made to pay £85 costs, a £20 surcharge and a £150 criminal court charge;
