Drink Driving

Nicholas Stewart Rodgers (51) of Crow Hill Drive, Mansfield, admitted having 55mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Mercedes. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from driving for 15 months and told to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge;

Carl James Wallace (39) of Claymoor Close, Mansfield, admitted having 83mlgs in 100mls of blood while behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta. The legal limit is 80mlgs. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £225 and made to pay £85 costs and a £22 surcharge;

Craig Wickins (34) of High Crescent, Kirkby, admitted having 66mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Peugeot van. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £280 and made to pay £85 costs and a £28 surcharge. There was no separate fine for a charge he admitted of driving without a licence and insurance;

Darren Leigh Stain (33) of Herne Street, Sutton, admitted having 73mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while driving a Vauxhall Astra. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £460 and made to pay £85 costs and a £46 surcharge.

Violence

Rachel Graham (28) of Langham Place, Mansfield, was found guilty after a trial of assaulting a male. She was handed a community order and made to pay £400 costs and a £60 surcharge;

Jason Michael Peabody (35) of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a police officer, damaging a bedroom and bathroom door and possession of cannabis. He was given a 16-week sentence, suspended for 12 weeks;

Patrick Ross Allan (32) of Birds Lane, Kirkby, admitted two counts of assaulting a female and was sent to prison for 15 weeks;

Ms Joanna Louise Kitchin (37) of George Street, Warsop, admitted assaulting another male. He was given a community order and told to pay £25 compensation.

Theft

Michael Leslie Newton (35) of David Street, Kirkby admitted stealing meat to an unknown value belonging to Tesco. He was jailed for four weeks because the offence was committed while out on licence;

Neil Clarke (41) of Outram Street, Sutton, admitted stealing NIVEA men’s gift sets worth £19 belonging to Home Bargains, and £30 worth of curtains from B&M. He was fined £90 in total and made to pay £30 compensation.

Breach

Francis Tasker (19) of Sylvan Crescent, Sutton, admitted two counts of breaching a retraining order and one count of being drunk and disorderly. He was given a community order and told to pay £235 in costs and a £60 surcharge;

Lee Walker (41) of Fiskerton Court, Bellamy Road Estate, Mansfield, admitted failing to comply with a community order in respect of four previous offences, including receiving stolen goods, failing to surrender to custody, driving while disqualified and possession of cannabis. He was jailed for 18 weeks.

Motoring

Stewart Brett Coleman (40) of Northwood Avenue, Sutton, was found to have run a red light while driving a Mercedes on the A38. He was fined £200, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge. He was also given three penalty points. The case was proved in his absence;

Ashley David Peter Denny (24) of Laurel Avenue, Forest Town, was found to have run a red light while driving a VW Bora on the A38. He was fined £200, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge. He was also given three penalty points. The case was proved in his absence;

James Gareth Smith (26) of Cromwell Street, Mansfield, admitted running a red light while driving a Mercedes on the A6191. He was fined £105, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge. He was also given three penalty points. The case was proved in his absence;

Elizabeth Kay Pointon (32) of Church Road, Clipstone, was found to have been driving a Renault Megane without insurance. She was banned from driving for six months, fined £600, and made to pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge. The case was proved in her absence.

Criminal damage

Lance Peter Musgrove (25) of King Street, Mansfield, admitted damaging a Citroen Saxo in a revenge attack, possession of cannabis and of failing to surrender to custody. He was jailed for 16 weeks;

Aaron Robert Adlington (22) of no fixed address, admitted breaking the glass to a door on Gladstone Street, Mansfield. He was given a community order and told to pay £100 compensation.

Miscellaneous

Michael Patrick Linford (28) of Newcastle Street, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted being drunk and disorderly and insulting the district judge. He was jailed for two weeks.
