Drink driving

Lee Marshall (26) of Orchid Close, Kirkby, admitted having 63 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving fro three years, fined £240 and told to pay £85 costs and a £24 surcharge;

Sharon Smart (43) Main Street, Huthwaite, admitted having 138 mlgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80 mlgs. She was banned from driving for 16 months, fined £250 and told to pay £85 costs and a £25 surcharge.

Marc Ashley Enangelous (28) of Walesby Lane, New Ollerton, was fined £400 for breaking a 30 mph limit in an VW Golf. He was given four penalty points and will be made to pay £85 costs and a £40 surcharge. The case was proved in his absence;

Donald John Ramsay (49) of Vale Road, Mansfield Woodhouse, was fined £200 for breaking a 50 mph limit in an Peugeot. He was given three penalty points and will be made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge. The case was proved in his absence;

Stephen Kevin Smith (25) of Rutland Street, Mansfield, was fined £200 for breaking a 40 mph limit in a VW Caddy. He was given three penalty points, and will be made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge. The case was proved in his absence.

Theft

Mandy Town (41) of Lynnes Close, Blidworth, admitted stealing boots worth £20 from Primark. She was fined £50, and told to pay £20 compensation, £60 costs and a £290 surcharge. She was also fined £50 for failing to surrender to custody;

Alice Mary Hose (25) of Mansfield Road, Skegby, admitted receiving stolen goods including a Samsung phone and a laptop knowing them to be stolen. She received a three-month community order, and was told to pay £40 costs and a £60 surcharge;

Richard Thomas Raymond Lambert (27) of Sandy Lane, Mansfield, admitted breaking into the old Chad office on Newgate Lane to steal electrical cable. He was given an 18-week jail term, suspended for 12 months, and made to pay an £80 surcharge;

Gareth Sydney Davis (33) of HMP Lincolnshire, admitted CJS Timber Merchants on Union street, Sutton, and stealing stock and tools. He was jailed for a further 12 weeks to run concurrently with an existing sentence;

Lance Craig Kernan (28) of Garden Crescent, South Normanton admitted stealing items worth £191 from ASDA in Sutton, six counts driving off from Morrisons petrol station in Mansfield and Bulwell without paying for fuel and five counts of driving without insurance. He was given a community order with four months’ curfew, told to pay £157 compensation for the fuel and banned from driving for 12 months.

Stephan Anthony Spencer (19) of Sandy Lane, Mansfield, admitted damaging fixtures and fittings in two flats and was sent to a young offenders’ institution for eight weeks.

Violence

Stephen John Feeley (38) of Cross Lane, Huthwaite, admitted assaulting a police officer, and was given a community order with a five-month curfew. He was also made to pay £200 costs, £50 compensation. He also admitted assaulting another person and made to pay a further £150 compensation to the victim;

Darren John Rick (48) of Carter Lane, Warsop Vale, admitted threatening unlawful violence after threatening police with a pickaxe and hammer. He was jailed for 16 weeks;

Jamie Moore (31) of Priestsic Road, Sutton, admitted six counts of assaulting a female and damaging a window and door belonging to her. He was jailed for 26 weeks;

Scott Else (39) of Eckington Walk, Mansfield, admitted having a machete in a public place and threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was given a community order with three months’ curfew.

Miscellaneous

Tracey Partington (32) of Willow Crescent, Sutton, admitted being drunk and disorderly and was fined £45 and told to pay a £20 surcharge;

Samuel Montgomery (28) of Sixth Avenue, Clipstone, admitted fishing at Sherwood Forest Farm Park without a licence and was fined £125, and made to pay £127 costs and a £20 surcharge;

George Ogilvie Stevenson (48) of Ling Forest Court, Mansfield, admitted causing harassment, alarm or distress to a police officer and was fined £100, and made to pay £50 costs and a £20 surcharge;

Kane Housley (27) of Sheepbridge Lane, Mansfield, admitted failing to secure the transfer of waste and fined £1,000 and made to pay £656 in costs and a £100 surcharge;

Karra Claire Reast (25) of Thoresby Road, Rainworth, admitted failing to comply with a police officer’s direction and not return to Clumber Street in Mansfield within 12 hours. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge, and told to pay £85 costs and a £15 surcharge.
