Here is round-up of the criminal cases heard at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court over the last week.

Motoring

Stuart Dawson (29), Sandhurst Avenue, Mansfield. Drove a motor vehicle while disqualified and without insurance. Jailed for 14 weeks and made to pay victim surcharge of £80.

Darren Eadson (39), Maid Marian Way, New Ollerton. Drove a motorvehicle while disqualified and without insurance while subject of a suspended sentence. Jailed for four months and made to pay £80 victim surcharge.

Richard Tucker (45), Woodhouse Road, Mansfield. Drove a motorvehicle in excess of the speed limit. Fined £80, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85. Licence endorsed with three penalty points.

Jeffrey Vianna (50), The Ridings, Forest Town. Drove while not in control of vehicle. Fined £80, made to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Licence endorsed with three penalty points.

Gregorz Kuzma (35), Whitney Close, Forest Town. Drove a motorvehicle while four times over the speed limit. Jailed for ten weeks. Made to pay £80 victim surcharge. Banned from driving for three years.

Robert Ryan (52), Blackwell Road, Sutton. Failed to stop after an accident or report it and obstructed a community police support officer in the execution of his duty. Fined £180, made to pay victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.00. Driving licence endorsed with eight penalty points.

Miscellaneous

Christopher Saint (30), Kelstedge Drive, Mansfield. Failed to attend court four times. Jailed for two months concurrent with other sentences.

Callum Steele (23), Greendale Crescent, Clipstone. Used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Jailed for 10 weeks suspended for 12 months. Made to pay compensation of £200, victim surcharge of £80 and costs of £100.

Gary Woods (49), Walesby Lane, New Ollerton. Outraged public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, namely by masturbating. Jailed for 14 weeks suspended for 12 months. Made to pay victim surcharge of £80 and costs of £620.

Ricky Green (24), Tudsbury Terrace, Sutton. Threatened to smash windows and doors. Fined £100, made to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Theft

Tara Gregory (24), Brand Lane, Stanton Hill. Stole meat worth £80.47 belonging to Aldi, chocolate Bars worth £60 belonging to Poundstrecher, stole meat products of unknown value belonging to Co-op. Jailed for 24 weeks.

Christopher Saint (30), Kelstedge Drive, Mansfield. Stole tins of sweets worth £54 and meat worth £120 belonging to the Co-op. Stole meat of an unknown value belonging to Widdecombe Fair public house and attempted to sell stolen meat. Stole various items worth £255.96 belonging to Tesco stores. Jailed for four months. Made to pay victim surcharge of £80.

Charles Miller (33), Rock Street, Mansfield. Entered a building and stole power tools, tools, a bottle of wine and a Kona mountain bike to the value of £667. Given community order with drug rehabilitation requirement. Made to pay To pay compensation of £50 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Criminal damage

Tara Gregory (24), Brand Lane, Stanton Hill. Damaged a window worth £100 belonging to Co-op. Jailed for eight weeks concurrent to other sentences.

Martin Divans (25), Cromwell Street, Mansfield. Damaged a door worth £50. Ordered to attended 31 sessions of Building Better Relationships programme. Made to pay compensation of £50 and court costs of £85.

Assault

Damien Boot (28), Bancroft Lane, Mansfield. Four counts of assault by beating. Jailed for 26 weeks. Given restraining orders. Made to pay compensation of £150.

Martin Divans (25), Cromwell Street, Mansfield. Assault by beating. Ordered to attended 31 sessions of Building Better Relationships programme.

Mark Annibal (48), Beazley Avenue, Mansfield. Produced a quantity of cannabis. Fined £110, made to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
