Police publish crime figures in the Mansfield area from 18th-21st November

Could these have been stolen with the intention of money laundering perhaps?

A Washing machine, washing line post and lamp fittings were among items reported stolen by police in Mansfield over the past few days.

The following crimes were reported in the Mansfield Area 18-21 Nov 2014:

500-1730hrs 19 Nov 2014. Pump Hallow Road, Forest Town. Offender entered rear of property and stolen scrapped washing machine, washing line post and lamp fittings.

1600-0940hrs 16-17 Nov 2014 Berry Hill Mews, Mansfield. Parked vehicle on driveway entered and loose change stolen, valued at £4.

1730-0800hrs 16-17 Nov 2014. Allotments, Broomhill Lane, Mansfield. A number of sheds and outbuildings broken into. Stolen: Sebetier Cooks knife, a Dirt Devil circular saw and a jerry can of petrol.

0230-0730hrs 17 Nov 2014. Sherwood Hall Road, Mansfield Woodhouse. Offender entered insecure vehicle and stole a Mcculloch Chain saws.

1445-1530hrs 17 Nov 2014. Terrace Road, Mansfield. Insecure bike stolen from rear of premises.

2100-0900hrs 17-18 Nov 2014. Sanders Avenue, Mansfield. Insecure bike stolen from side of house.

1610-0415hrs 17-18 Nov 2014. Newlands Road, Forest Town. Offender entered site compound and syphoned off diesel from machinery.

0050hrs 18 Nov 2014. Lindley Street, Mansfield. House currently unoccupied and being renovated was entered and a considerable amount of damage caused.

0046hrs 18 Nov 2014, Tile Store, Baums Lane, Mansfield. Front window smashed and 4 electric wet wheel tile cutting machines stolen.

0030-0545hrs, 18 Nov 2014. Sheepbridge Road, Mansfield, (Portland). A green Land Rover diesel Defender reg.no. E---FSO stolen, offender must have pushed vehicle away from parked area to avoid noise of engine.

18-19 Nov 2014. Allotments, Broomhill Lane, Mansfield. Offender damaged roof of shed and door to chicken run.

18-19 Nov 2014. Lord Street, Mansfield. Offender entered secured shed in rear garden and stole a rear 26” wheel from a mountain bike.

1900hrs 19 Nov 2014. Heathfield Way, Mansfield, insecure vehicle entered and stole a Peppa Pig Bag containing spare clothes.

18-20 Nov 2014. Allotments Hunters Chase, Mansfield. Offender force entry into shed and stole a green Coopers garden trolley

1000-1540hrs 19 Nov 2014. Chesterfield Road North (Pleasley Hill Bull Farm). Offender broke into shed and stole four Stihl chain saws.

12230-0630hrs 19-20 Nov 2014, Ruskin Road, Bull Farm, Mansfield. A Citreon C4 FG—XPS stolen whilst parked on road.

1430-1000hrs 19-20 Nov 2014. Allotments, Priory Road, Mansfield Woodhouse. Several shed entered, amongst items stole was a wheelbarrow and an assortment of tools

1600-1200hrs 9-20 Nov 2014. Allotments, Church Warsop. Shed broken into. Stole a blue Makita electric drill, a Stihl orange/grey leaf blower and a can of petrol.

A police spokesman said: “Several garden allotment sites have been entered in the Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse Areas, with Sheds broken into and items stolen.

“If you store property in your shed please lock it up with a substantial lock and fit a shed alarm. The sound of a shed alarm at night would frighten away an opportunist thief.”
