A woman who was found to have a small quantity of cannabis when police raided her home was handed a conditional discharge.
Emma Louise Devonshire (31) of Pepper Street, Sutton, admitted a charge of possessing the class B drug when officers visited her home.
Mansfield Magistrates’ Court heard that the drug was taken away, along with a quantity of money, however the cash was later returned to her.
Not represented by a solicitor, Devonshire said she ‘regretted it deeply’ but was trying to ‘sort out’ her drug taking.
She was given a 12-month conditional discharge, made to pay £85 costs and a £15 surcharge.
