Police have continued to target underage drinkers and those taking drugs during a recent purge in Mansfield.
As part of Operation Oatcake, a team accompanied by a drugs dog, engaged with groups of young people in the town centre and Titchfield Park.
It is the second time the team has been targeted those they suspect of using drugs or drinking underage.
Of the searches carried out during the latest operation, one 17-year-old was found to be in possession of cannabis.
He was taken home to his parents and will now undergo a youth workshop placement.
Pc Colin Kirkup said: “This activity follows on from the success of Operation Oatcake in March.
“It is helping to enforce the message that underage drinking and drugs will not be tolerated in our communities.
“I am pleased that this continued approach and engagement with young people is making the town centre safer.”
