NOTTINGHAMSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was viciously attacked in Pleasley during a daring daylight robbery .
The victim was walking home after getting off the bus at Pleasley Hill, Mansfield, at around 4.30pm on Friday.
He started to walk home and as he reached Clarence Street in Pleasley, he was attacked from behind by two men.
They assaulted him and stole his iPhone and iPad.
He suffered a fractured eye socket and a fractured skull.
